Kanji de Manga Gets a Genki Recommendation

The always genki YouTuber and Japan enthusiast Richard Graham has been having a tough time recommending fun ways to learn kanji, the character system behind Japanese reading and writing. In his latest video he explains that he used to tell people that rote memorization of some key basic characters was the best way to start your kanji journey, but now he’s found a fun and easy new way that anyone can get into: Kanji de Manga!

Watch the video above to find out why Richard thinks our series is the best way to start learning how to read and write Japanese, and make sure to check out genkijapan for more great Japanese language and culture videos like this one!
